Accessibility Statement
Last updated: March 2026
Our commitment
ZNICE is committed to making its tools and content accessible to all users, including those using assistive technologies. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards across the site.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML throughout — headings, landmarks, lists and forms use correct elements
- All images have descriptive, non-empty alt attributes
- All interactive elements are keyboard-accessible
- Colour contrast ratios meet or exceed WCAG AA requirements for normal and large text
- Form inputs have associated labels
- Breadcrumb navigation uses aria-label="Breadcrumb" and a semantic ol element
- The mobile menu button includes aria-label and aria-expanded attributes
- Focus states are visible on all interactive elements
- The site does not use auto-playing media or flashing content
Known limitations
- The range sliders in tool forms may have limited usability with some screen readers. We are working on improving this with additional aria-valuenow and aria-label attributes in a future update.
- The live output blocks update dynamically — screen readers with aria-live regions should receive updates, but behaviour may vary across reader/browser combinations.
- Placeholder image files in assets/media/ do not yet contain actual content — once populated, alt text on those images will accurately describe the photograph.
Reporting issues
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site, please contact us with a description of the page, the barrier encountered, and the assistive technology you are using. We aim to address reported issues within 30 days.
Enforcement
If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility complaint, you may contact the relevant national authority. In Spain, this is the Real Patronato sobre Discapacidad under the Ministry of Social Rights.
