Who we are

ZNICE operates the website znice.es, a free decision-tools platform based in Spain. References to "we", "us" and "our" refer to ZNICE. Contact: [email protected].

What data we collect

ZNICE is a static website. No user accounts exist. No tool inputs are transmitted to a server.

The following data may be collected:

  • Cookie preference: A single localStorage value records whether you accepted or declined cookies. This value stays in your browser and is never transmitted.
  • Email address: If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is stored with our email service provider (ESP). It is used solely to send update notifications about new content on the site.
  • Contact form submissions: If you submit the contact form, your name, email address and message are transmitted to us via our form processor. This data is used only to respond to your enquiry.
  • Server logs: Our hosting provider may record standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. These are retained for a maximum of 30 days for security purposes.

What we do not collect

We do not collect tool inputs. We do not use tracking pixels. We do not run advertising trackers. We do not use Google Analytics or similar third-party analytics platforms on this site.

Cookies

ZNICE uses one first-party cookie: a localStorage entry that stores your cookie consent choice (accepted or declined). No third-party cookies are set by this site. If you decline cookies, the site functions normally — no functionality is restricted.

Newsletter

Newsletter subscriptions are managed via a third-party email service provider. By subscribing, you consent to your email address being stored by that provider and used to send ZNICE update emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Your email address is not shared with any other party.

Your rights under GDPR

If you are located in the EU, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; withdraw consent at any time; lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

Data retention

Newsletter email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Contact form submissions are retained for 12 months and then deleted. Server logs are retained for 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date at the top will be updated. Continued use of the site after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
